Jon Walker

Jon Walker has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jon started their career as a Theater Assistant Manager at Carmike Cinemas in 2000, where they managed employee tasks, provided customer service, and handled cash register operations. In 2009, they worked as an Electronics Cashier at Toys R Us, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring proper use of electronics items.

In 2011, Jon joined SumTotal Systems as a Technical Support Engineer, where they assisted support contacts with configuration and administration issues, investigated software bugs, and created and deployed data correction scripts. Jon then moved on to Grooveshark in 2013, working as a Quality Assurance Analyst. In this role, they tested new features and bug fixes, performed web QA, and served as the lead QA for mobile sites and apps. Jon also worked closely with the development and support teams, contributed to design decisions, and maintained project and bug tracking documents.

Since 2015, Jon has been associated with SharpSpring (previously from Constant Contact) in various roles. Jon started as a Coding Support Engineer, providing support and resolving coding-related issues. Jon then transitioned to the role of Code Support - Subject Matter Expert and later became the Code/HTML Technical Lead. Currently, Jon holds the position of HTML Support Sr. Tier 3/VOC Programmer, where they utilize their expertise in HTML and programming to provide top-tier support.

Throughout their career, Jon has used a range of technologies and tools such as Javascript, jQuery, PHP, HTML, CSS, Git, Stripe, Firebug, Wireshark, Android, and iOS. Jon has a strong focus on attention to detail, replication steps, and providing excellent customer service.

Jon Walker earned an Associate's degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician from Tri-County Technical College in 2007. Jon further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained another Associate's degree, this time in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology, in 2010.
