Orla Egan

Orla Egan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Orla worked as the Head of Customer Success at Shaype since September 2022. Prior to that, they were involved in strategic partnerships development at Linkly from October 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at x15ventures from July 2021 to October 2021.

Orla also has extensive experience in the financial services sector. Orla served as the Senior Commercial Lead, Financial Services Partnerships at Velocity Frequent Flyer from March 2017 to October 2021, where they managed partnerships and performance with banking partners and institutions. Prior to that, they worked at Westpac as a Senior Product Owner, Business Credit Cards from March 2016 to March 2017, overseeing the financial performance of the business credit card portfolio.

Orla's earlier experience includes roles at Cuscal, where they served as a Senior Manager for Payment Products and Fraud from April 2014 to January 2016, managing multi-million dollar P&Ls for card and fraud products. Orla also held the position of Senior Manager Card Products from December 2007 to November 2010 at Cuscal. Orla began their career at Citi as the Head of Partnerships, managing credit card co-issuance partnerships and product P&Ls.

Before entering the financial services industry, Orla worked as the General Manager of Customer Relations at RAMS from 1999 to 2005 and as the Head of Customer Service at OneFamily from 1995 to 1999.

Orla Egan began their education journey in 1999 at The Open University, where they pursued a Professional Certificate in Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2000, they enrolled at the Institute of Data & Marketing (IDM) and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Direct Marketing.

In 2015, Orla attended Charles Sturt University, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. This enhanced their understanding of human behavior and psychological concepts. Orla then continued their education at Monash University in 2018, completing a Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology.

Currently, Orla is pursuing a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Sydney. Their studies focus on assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving optimal functioning and independence. Orla's educational background showcases their commitment to developing their skills and knowledge in counseling, psychology, business administration, and rehabilitation counseling.
