Rajat Kumar

Rajat Kumar has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Rajat is currently working as a Mentor at Techstars starting in 2023. Prior to this, Rajat was the Co-Founder & CTO of Shaztra since September 2021.

Rajat has also gained significant experience at Netflix, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2016 to September 2021. Rajat was responsible for building the world's #1 TV App and was involved in building, optimizing, and scaling the Node.js platform and infrastructure at Netflix.

Before joining Netflix, Rajat worked as a Full Stack Engineer at PayRange from August 2015 to April 2016. Prior to that, they were a Tech Lead at SmarTek21 from September 2014 to August 2015.

Rajat has also had a long tenure at NantHealth (formerly Net.Orange), where they served as a Tech Lead from May 2010 to September 2014. Additionally, they co-founded and was the Head of Engineering at AppInitio Labs from March 2012 to November 2013.

Their career in the technology industry started at Oracle, where they worked as a Senior Application Engineer from January 2007 to April 2010.

Rajat Kumar completed their XII education from Delhi Public School - Mathura Road between 2000 and 2002. Rajat studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Computer Science during this period. Following this, they pursued a B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU from 2002 to 2006.
