She Is Safe is a survivor-led nonprofit equipping women and girls who face slavery in underserved communities with the tools to build lives of freedom and faith for a strong future.

In the last year alone, more than 82,000 people have benefited from She Is Safe's prevention, rescue, or restoration programs — including 5,312 women and teens in 480 groups for learning, lending, and new beginnings.

The Problem: Girls are vulnerable to being sold for sex, labor, or forced child marriage.

87% of victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation are women and girls

Post-COVID, the number of girls being trafficked has surged by 38% globally

Every minute, 23 girls are given or sold into child marriage

The Good News: Freedom is possible and replicable.

She Is Safe’s proven programs raise awareness and income-generating alternatives among high-risk populations. Our rescues at border crossings, in red-light districts, and refugee camps bring women and girls to restoration that heals and equips them with the skills they need to generate income and live in freedom and dignity — and to become agents of change within their local communities. With a strong network of partners and advocates, we work to see women and girls safe, free, and equipped to become everything they were created to be. Will you join us in rescuing forgotten girls?
