Rahama Wright has an extensive work experience spanning from 2004 to present. In 2004, they began their career as a Research Analyst at Aguirre International Inc., where they prepared narrative reports for USAID/Education Office and handled data request. In 2011, they joined U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) as a Program Analyst, where they provided operational and administrative support to achieve the agency’s mission. In 2009, they became Grants and Program Manager, Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University. In 2012, they joined U.S. Department of State’s Office of Global Partnerships as a Trainer – Facilitator – Speaker, where they organized over 100 training workshops, events, and seminars for women and youth. In 2012, they also became the Chief Executive Officer of Shea Yeleen, where they established community partnerships with farmer cooperatives in 14 villages in Ghana, resulting in the creation of living wage jobs. In 2020, they joined Dreamers & Doers as an Executive Member.

Rahama Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from SUNY Geneseo.
