Mike Maté

Mike Maté is a General Partner at Kickstart Ventures, where they invest in early- to early-growth stage startups globally. They have held various prominent roles, including Senior Associate in the Project Development & Finance Group and M&A Group at Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc & De Los Angeles from 2008 to 2014, and Head of Structured Finance and Debt Products at BPI Capital Corporation from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, Mike has served as a Board Member for multiple organizations, including Lydia.ai and SariSuki, while also taking on board observer roles at KICKS CREW and Roslin Technologies. They hold a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School.
