Ron Warren has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, starting as a Failure Analysis Technician for Motorola Semiconductor in 1987. Ron then worked as a Lab Manager for Evans Analytical Group for ten years, where they were responsible for day-to-day lab operations and performing circuit edits using FIB and CAD navigation. In 2009, they joined SVTC as a FIB CE Analyst/Technical Sales before moving to Intel Corporation in 2010 as a Debug Engineering Technician, where they conducted backside FIB circuit editing.
In 2012, Warren joined Masdar Institute of Science and Technology as a SEM/FIB Instructor, providing SEM/FIB and E-Beam Lithography operations training to both students and faculty, along with overseeing daily operations in the electron microscopy lab and the sample preparation lab. After two years, they moved to Qualcomm as a Senior Support Engineer, where they worked until 2016. During their time at Qualcomm, they provided technical support for software and hardware issues and represented the company at customer sites.
In 2016, Warren joined SHEETAK, Inc. as a Senior Process Technician for a year before moving to Analog Devices in 2017 as a Senior FIB Circuit Edit Engineer, where they stayed until September 2021, performing circuit edits using FIB and SEM. Currently, Warren works at Sheetak Inc. as a Test and Measurement Engineer.
Ron Warren attended Austin Community College from 1990 to 1993 and obtained an AAS degree in Electronics Technology. In 2019, they began studying at Western Governors University and will be earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology by 2022.
