Shefa Chaim V’Rachamim was founded to address a heartbreaking reality: thousands of young couples in Israel simply cannot afford a home. Without housing, there is no stability, no roots, and no real chance to build a secure future for their children.

We step in where families and communities are unable to provide support. Our model goes beyond one-time help: we purchase land in Israel’s more affordable peripheral areas and partner with developers to build quality housing at significantly reduced costs. Additionally, we provide long-term, interest-free loans for down payments.

Through carefully structured assistance, we help couples close the gap and move into their own apartments. Your donation doesn’t just help once—it is reused, recycled, and reinvested again and again to assist the next couple in line.

Our work is inspired by the Klausenburger Rebbe, a Holocaust survivor who provided affordable housing in Israel as early as the 1950s. We are driven by the belief that every Jewish family deserves a home they can call their own.
