Tara Brown

Tara Brown is a versatile film curator, speaker, consultant, evaluator, and writer with a robust background in festival programming and film evaluation. Currently, they serve as a programmer for the Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest and as a programme adviser for Sheffield DocFest. Previously, Tara has held various roles at prominent organizations, including the British Film Institute, where they contributed to festivals focusing on disability representation and LGBTQ+ narratives. They hold a Higher Diploma in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Manchester, obtained in 2009.
