Zoe Beard (née Mumba) is an accomplished public relations professional, currently serving as the Head of PR and Communications at Bitmovin and previously held the position of Global PR and Communications Manager at the same company. In addition to this role, Zoe contributes to the community as a Board Trustee at Sheffield DocFest and serves as a Trustee for Ashiana Sheffield. As the Public Relations Manager for CAIR London, Zoe has demonstrated expertise in managing communications, and also plays a mentoring role with Bridging Barriers. Zoe earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English, including a minor in North American Literature and Film, from Loughborough University between 2011 and 2014, and attended The Sheffield College from 2009 to 2011.

Sheffield DocFest is the UK’s leading documentary festival and one of the world’s most influential markets for documentary projects. We champion and present the breadth of documentary form – film, television, immersive and art – in the vibrant city of Sheffield each June.
