Dr. Maylon Hanold is a full-time Teaching Professor in the MBA in Sport and Entertainment Management program, with a research focus on the physicality of leadership, including embodiment and empathy. They have published extensively in various journals and contributed chapters to several books on sport leadership. An Olympian and former member of the US Whitewater Kayak Team, Maylon has also coached at multiple levels and remains active in endurance sports. They continue to serve on the board of directors for SheJumps and are pursuing doctoral studies in leadership in sport at Seattle University.
