Chaz Simpson

Chaz Simpson has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management within the oil and gas industry. Beginning as a Roustabout at Global Santa Fe from 2006 to 2008, Chaz progressed to various positions at Transocean, including Rig Safety Training Coordinator, HSE Advisor, and ultimately Senior HSE Advisor, where responsibilities included supervising the HSE department and supporting ISO audit requirements across UK Waters, West Africa, and Egypt. Following a role as HSE Consultant with CMS Safety Consultants and a Client HSE Representative at EDF Renewables UK, Chaz served as HSE Supervisor and HSE Manager for Shelf Drilling, overseeing HSE operations and providing support to personnel and customers in the North Sea Division. Chaz holds a Level 6 Certificate in Applied Health and Safety from NCRQ and a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice from City and Guilds. Key achievements include facilitating QHSE workshops and co-designing training programs in collaboration with Sabre Safety.
