Iain Elder is an accomplished Mechanical Superintendent with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, specializing in both onshore and offshore project delivery. They have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex mechanical projects, ensuring safety and compliance throughout all phases of execution. Currently employed at Shelf Drilling, Iain directs mechanical scope planning, supervises maintenance crews, and represents the mechanical function during client acceptance reviews. Their previous roles include Project Lead at Global Offshore & Marine and Mechanical Supervisor at Shelf Drilling, where they demonstrated exceptional leadership and project execution skills. Iain holds an HND in Marine Engineering from Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.
