Jan Štihec

Jan Štihec is a data and GenAI director at Shelf, currently leading initiatives in artificial intelligence and data science. They have a strong background in data science and software development, having worked as a freelance data scientist from 2020 to 2022, and held positions such as head of data science at Silver Brain AI and data science lead at Silver Brain AI AG. Previously, Jan gained experience as a data scientist and NLP engineer at the Jozef Stefan Institute and worked on machine learning projects at the University of Ljubljana. Jan holds a master's degree in business informatics and a bachelor's degree in computer and information sciences from the University of Ljubljana.
