Wayne Robbins

VP, Finance & Operations at Shelf

Wayne Robbins has over two decades of experience in the finance and operations industry. Wayne began their career in 1997 as a Manager for Deals Advisory Services at PwC. In 2003, they founded Prosody Strategic Insights, where they gathered market intelligence for Deals leadership from clients such as Zebra Tech, NetApp, LucasFilm, Carlyle Group, and PepsiCo. In 2006, they became a Partner and Co-Founder of Genre Media Group, where they led the funding of a $50 million production and P&A fund. In 2013, they joined The Walt Disney Company as Global Strategic Finance for the Walt Disney Studios, where they developed strategic financial models and advised on a 5-year plan. In 2015, they joined HitRecord.org, Inc. as EVP, Head of Finance, where they led operations and evolution of a production company into a VC-backed Series A global technology-entertainment platform. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Shelf as VP, Finance & Operations, where they are helping organizations move from their legacy knowledge base to knowledge automation.

Wayne Robbins obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1992 and 1996. Wayne then pursued a Masters in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 1996 and 1997. Wayne also holds two certifications as a CPA from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners and the California Board of Accountancy.
