Abdesslam Belghache

Abdesslam Belghache is a Principal Thermal Reservoir Engineer with over 18 years of international work experience across Kuwait, Oman, Canada, and Algeria. They began their career at the Ministry of Energy and Mining in Algeria and later worked as a Thermo-Mechanical Engineer at Sonelgaz. Since joining Shell in 2005, Abdesslam has contributed to various projects, including significant roles in Canada and Oman. Currently, they support the South Ratqa thermal project in Kuwait and are interested in integrating Artificial Intelligence into reservoir management while mentoring junior colleagues. Abdesslam holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique in Algeria.
