Abdullah Al Shibli is an accomplished reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the petroleum industry. Prior to his current role as Country Reserves Lead & Shareholders Advisor at Shell since January 2024, Abdullah worked at Petroleum Development Oman from 2013 to 2022, where significant contributions included improving recovery techniques and managing reservoir and facility projects at the Fahud asset. Abdullah also played a key role in the Hydrocarbon Maturation Center, focusing on reservoir optimization and development planning. Abdullah holds a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide, along with a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Leeds.
