Abhi Kohli

Abhi Kohli is an accomplished professional in the field of petrophysics with extensive experience in various roles within Shell and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Currently serving as the US CCS Area Development Lead and Senior Petrophysicist at Shell since October 2020, Abhi Kohli has a proven track record in delivering petrophysical solutions for conventional oil and gas projects, including the development of multi-scenario modeling. Previous roles include Senior Petrophysicist at NAM BV Assen and various positions at Shell, where responsibilities encompassed planning data acquisition for major oil fields, operational petrophysics, and providing expertise in advanced workflows. Active in professional organizations, Abhi Kohli holds a position on the Board of Directors as Secretary and Communications Chair for the SPE GCS Gulf Coast Section. Abhi Kohli earned a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in 2011.
