Aitor Ichaso

Aitor Ichaso is a Senior Exploration Geoscientist and Deep Water Reservoir Characterization Subject Matter Expert at Shell Oil Company, with a strong background in exploration geology within the oil and energy industry. They have demonstrated expertise in clastic sedimentology, stratigraphy, and petroleum geology, particularly in deep water and unconventional plays. Aitor's past roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Queen's University, where they examined modern estuarine systems, and Geologist at Shell, where they linked sedimentology to well performance. Currently, Aitor is pursuing an MSc in Geosciences, Sedimentology and Stratigraphy, alongside a PhD in the same field at Queen's University.
