Alan Collins has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked with Shell from August 2001, where roles included Geismar Expansion Manager, Major Projects Operations Manager, and Technology Manager at the Scotford Upgrader. Before this, Alan Collins held several senior engineering positions at Shell from September 1982 to January 2001, including Head of Process Engineering & Development for Gas Systems and Plants. Alan Collins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, completing the program in 1982. Recently, Alan Collins retired from Shell in October 2017.
