Alex Kerr is currently the Information and Digital Technology Advisor to Treasury, Pensions, and Insurance at Shell, a position held since September 2021. Alex graduated with a 2:1 Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, and Management from The University of York, which included a placement in various Finance roles at Northern Railway. Between 2019 and 2020, Alex supported different functions of the Finance department at Northern, contributing to community projects that promoted railway safety. Additionally, Alex has completed an IT training scheme in Business Intelligence from FDM Group and possesses a range of technical and professional skills, including proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and stakeholder management. Outside of work, Alex is fluent in Spanish and enjoys performing comedy on stage.
