Alexander Siemens

Alexander Siemens is a seasoned Petroleum Engineer currently serving as the Squad Lead for Production Optimization at NAM BV Assen since July 2018, focusing on gas development and reservoir engineering for ONEgas East. Prior experience includes a Research Reservoir Engineer role at Shell, where Alexander contributed to enhanced oil recovery projects, and a Reservoir Engineer position at Brunei Shell Petroleum during a short-term assignment. Additional roles include serving as a Wellsite Geologist at Salym Petroleum Development and conducting PhD research in nonlinear elasticity at Leiden University, where Alexander earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. Academic credentials also include a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University.
