Andre Charles

Andre Charles is an internationally experienced Corporate Relations Advisor and Economist, serving as the Head of Corporate Relations for the English and Dutch Caribbean at Shell. With a track record spanning over 20 years in both public and private sectors, they have successfully managed stakeholder relationships and non-technical risks to foster trust and create shared value. Andre previously held roles such as Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance, where they co-pioneered a macroeconomic forecasting model, and served as a Planning Officer at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education, contributing to significant educational reforms in Trinidad and Tobago. They hold a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy and Analysis with Distinction from the University of Westminster and have been a key player in driving strategic collaborations that support energy transition advocacy on an international stage.
