Andrew Barnett

Andrew Barnett is a Principal Carbonate Geologist at Shell, currently working in the Santos Basin Integrated Reservoir Modelling Team in London. They began their career as a mapping geologist at the British Geological Survey before earning a PhD in sedimentology and stratigraphy at Cardiff University. Andrew has held various roles, including carbonate sedimentologist and petrophysicist at Total, and provided specialist support at BG Group for carbonate reservoirs in the Santos Basin. With extensive experience in carbonate depositional systems and stratigraphy, they continue to contribute significantly to the field.
