Andy Mortimer

Andy Mortimer is an experienced forecasting professional currently serving as Forecasting Lead at Shell since September 2021. Prior to this role, Andy worked at E.ON from January 2020 to August 2021 as the Forecasting Lead for the Energy Migration project. Andy’s extensive background includes a long tenure at npower, where roles encompassed Forecast Optimisation Manager, Short-Term Power Forecasting Manager, Commodity Position Manager, and Energy Risk Analyst. In these positions, Andy managed teams focused on developing and supporting volume forecasting models, providing short-term energy forecasts, and reporting on energy positions. Andy began the career as a Data Analyst at Spring IT Solutions, analyzing data for NHS Trusts. Andy holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University.
