Andy Wiper

Andy Wiper is an experienced consultant currently with Shell since September 2025. Prior to this role, Wiper served as Managing Director at Basrah Gas Company from September 2022 to September 2025. A significant tenure at Shell from February 2018 to September 2022 included positions such as Business Opportunity Manager for Safety Refresh, Vice President of Integrated Asset Improvement, and Global Discipline Head for Production Operations. From July 2007 to February 2018, Wiper worked at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., where roles included Operations Director and Deputy General Director. Earlier experience includes various managerial positions at Shell, with significant roles at Centrica Energy from January 2003 to October 2006. Wiper holds a Master of Science (MSc) and a B.Eng (Hons) in Engineering Project Management and Electrical Electronic Engineering from Lancaster University.
