Anu Chandran

Anu Chandran is a Principal Research Geophysicist at Shell, specializing in imaging and model building innovations using conventional and generative AI techniques. They have held various roles at Shell, including Team Lead for Seismic Analytics and Senior Seismic Research Geophysicist, where they focused on deep learning applications for geophysical inverse problems. Anu completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University, along with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Previously, they contributed to projects at Silicon Magnetic Systems and the Indian Institute of Technology, showcasing a strong foundation in geophysics and engineering.
