Banu Ozcan

GM, Structuring and Quant Analytics

Banu Ozcan is the Head of Structuring and Quant Analytics at Shell Energy, a position held since 2020. Prior to this role, Banu served as a Manager at Enron from 1999 to 2001, and held various positions at Deutsche Bank between 2002 and 2003, including Vice President of Global Markets/Structured Credit Trading. Banu also worked as a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2009, leading the Commodities Structuring EMEA team. Banu earned a Doctor of Philosophy in International Finance from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where they also completed a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, following a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Bilkent University.
