Barbara Blakely

Barbara Blakely is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate relations and external affairs, primarily at Shell since December 2007. Blakely has held several key positions, including Head of Corporate Relations, VP of External Relations Projects and Technology, and External Relations Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. Previous roles include Senior External Affairs Manager for Gas-to-Liquid in Louisiana and Petrochemicals in Pennsylvania, as well as Deputy Country Chairman for Shell Mexico and Head of CO2 Communications. Prior to joining Shell, Blakely served as Vice President of External Affairs and Communications at Shell Renewables International, and worked as a press officer at the Mexican Consulate in New York from 1998 to 2001. Blakely holds a degree from The New School, which was completed between 1994 and 1997.
