Bas De Wit

Bas De Wit is currently the Business Accounting Manager Downstream - Group Reporting at Shell, where they provide accounting advice for complex transactions and support financial operations in mergers and acquisitions. They previously worked as an Auditor at KPMG, where they led teams on client audits, and held various financial roles at Shell since 2006, including Finance Manager for the Lubricants Supply Company. Bas completed their education in Auditing/Accounting at the University of Groningen and has gained recognition for their significant contributions, such as leading the implementation of key accounting standards and successfully managing large divestments. They are also an aspiring member of the Accountability Body for Shell’s Dutch pension fund.
