Bench Esquito

Bench Esquito is an innovative and resourceful exploration geoscientist with over 20 years of experience in Play-Based Exploration, portfolio generation, and operations geology across various global basins. Currently serving as a Senior Exploration Geoscientist at Shell, Bench leads projects in the Gulf of Guinea and supports multiple technical initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, Bench held roles at Shell that involved significant contributions to geological evaluations and successful bid rounds in diverse regions, demonstrating a commitment to safety, technical quality, and effective collaboration. Bench holds a Master’s in Petroleum Geoscience from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and a Bachelor’s in Geology from the University of the Philippines, graduating Cum Laude.
