Benson Egbevurie

Benson Egbevurie has over 26 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, currently serving as the Phase 2 HSSE Manager for LNG Canada at Shell. In this role, they ensure compliance with the Shell HSSE&SP Control Framework and oversee the HSSE programs during the project's define and execute phases. Previously, they were the QHSE Director for Egyptian LNG, where they aligned strategic objectives and advised leadership on HSSE best practices. Benson also held various managerial positions at Shell Nigeria, focusing on health, safety, and environmental compliance and risk management across multiple projects. They obtained a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
