Bernard Van der Maker

Bernard Van der Maker has extensive experience in asset management and operational excellence within the energy sector. Beginning with Centrica from July 1997 to March 2002 as Asset Integrity Manager, responsibilities included overseeing the onshore and offshore wind turbine portfolio, managing performance, and implementing best practices. Following this, Bernard held the position of Gas Portfolio Manager and later Head of Gas & Power Operations at GDF SUEZ E&P International from June 2002 to August 2004. Subsequently, Bernard served as Head of Asset Management at DONG Energy from September 2006 to May 2012 and currently holds the same title at Shell since July 2012. Bernard is a graduate of Delft University of Technology, completing studies between 1987 and 1994.
