Billman Marpaung

Billman Marpaung is an accomplished petroleum engineer with extensive experience in production optimization and technology. Billman began the career at Chevron as a Production Engineer, monitoring oil production in onshore fields and later transitioned to various roles at Schlumberger, focusing on production support and engineering for multiple operations in Russia. Billman's expertise expanded during the tenure at Shell, where responsibilities included leading hydrocarbon maturation studies and managing offshore wells in the Greater Fairley Area. As a Senior Production Technologist at Petroleum Development Oman, contributions were made to field development and optimization strategies. Billman also served as Technology Manager at Sakhalin Energy and possesses a BSc and MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology and Robert Gordon University, respectively.
