Capt. Khalid Azab

Capt. Khalid Azab is a seasoned marine consultant with extensive experience in marine operations and management across various companies. Currently serving as a Marine Consultant at Shell since September 2024, Khalid previously held the position of Marine Operations Manager at Rawabi Holding Group, effectively managing offshore marine vessels and coordinating rig moves for Saudi Aramco from July 2013 to September 2024. With prior roles as Marine Operations Manager and Port Captain at Topaz Energy and Marine, Marine Technical & Quality Management System Manager at National Petroleum Services Co in Kuwait, and Marine Superintendent at both NAMA Marine Shipping and Al Khera Company for Ferries Maritime Transport, Khalid demonstrated a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Khalid’s educational background includes degrees in Marine Science and Merchant Marine Officer from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a certification in Dynamic Positioning.
