Carmen Reznik

Carmen Reznik, Ph.D., currently serves as the General Manager of Product Stewardship at Shell since August 2021, focusing on the health, safety, and environmental impact of products throughout their chemical lifecycle. Prior to this role, Carmen held various positions at Shell Chemical, LP from February 2011 to August 2021, including Manager of Chemicals, Catalysts and Technology Product Stewardship, and Supply Excellence Manager for North America, where responsibilities involved leading teams, managing risk assessment programs, and fostering best practices in supply chain management. Carmen's earlier experience includes roles as a Researcher in Enhanced Oil Recovery, a Doctoral Candidate at Rice University specializing in the physics and chemistry of polymer transport mechanisms, and a Scientist Intern at Baker Hughes. Carmen also worked as a Consulting Chemist at Terra Air, developing air quality monitoring systems and data analysis protocols. Carmen holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Rice University.
