Cecile Wake

Cecile Wake is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as Country Chair and Senior Vice President Integrated Gas Australia at Shell since May 2023. Cecile has held significant positions including Chief Executive Officer at Arrow Energy (2020-2023) and Director at Shell Energy Australia (2017-2020). Additionally, Cecile’s experience includes roles as Vice President Commercial & NBD at Shell Australia, Growth Director at BG Group, and extensive leadership at QGC, where notable achievements included securing vital petroleum leases and negotiating landmark agreements. As a Senator at The University of Queensland since 2019, Cecile contributes to multiple committees. Educationally, Cecile holds an LLB (Hons) from The University of Queensland and has completed an Executive Development Program at The Wharton School.
