Charlie Newport

Charlie Newport has extensive experience in service assurance and IT infrastructure management, currently serving as Service Assurance Manager for Global Managed Network Services at Shell since July 1998. In this role, Charlie ensures suppliers deliver expected services to support Shell's Downstream operations and represents the division in process improvement activities. Previously, as Manufacturing Infrastructure Lead, responsibilities included overseeing IT infrastructure in the US East Gulf Coast Region and the Buenos Aires Refinery. Additionally, as IT Infrastructure Lead for the Norco Refinery, Charlie managed all infrastructure activities for the Norco Complex and the Convent Refinery. Prior to Shell, Charlie worked as a Lead Technician at Tomba Communications, focusing on the Norco Shell Complex.
