Chris Gerace, P.E., is currently the Wells Operations Team Lead for Subsea Interventions at Shell. Previously, they worked at Cameron as an Engineer where they served as the lead contact for gate valve technical issues during the BP Horizon incident and contributed to the development of innovative gate valve features. Their experience at Shell includes various roles, such as Completions and Well Intervention Engineer and Drilling Foreman, where they managed multiple complex projects. Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006.
