Christiaan Van der Eijk

Christiaan Van der Eijk is an accomplished professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the GM Strategy & Portfolio Renewables and Energy Solutions at Shell since 2021, where they lead the development of strategies for power and hydrogen. Previously, Christiaan held various positions at Shell, including Business Opportunity Manager for the Northern Lights CCS project and Chief of Staff for the Iraq South Gas Project, where they were a core member of the negotiation team for the $17 billion Iraq South Gas project. Before joining Shell, Christiaan worked at Basrah Gas Company as a Strategy & Portfolio Manager and at Erasmus MC as a Scientific Programmer. Christiaan earned a Master of Arts in History and a Master of Science in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
