Christian Gibson

Christian Gibson is currently the General Manager of UK Energy Transition at Shell, where they are responsible for steering the strategic direction of the energy transition and integrating initiatives across businesses. With extensive experience in exploration and geoscience, Christian has held various leadership positions at Shell, including Norway Development Manager and Global Exploration Transformation Manager. They have a background in geology and petroleum geology, having earned a BSc from the University of Aberdeen and an MSc from Royal Holloway, University of London. Previously, Christian worked at Shell in roles that emphasized operational excellence and pioneering energy transition initiatives.
