Christopher Black

Christopher Black is an experienced maintenance professional with a focus on instrumentation and control systems, currently serving as a Maintenance Supervisor at Shell since December 2011. Christopher has held various leadership roles including NUI Mission Coordinator and Electrical & Instrument Work Preparation Team Lead, with responsibilities that involve preparing accurate scopes of work for the Shell Sean and Leman fields and the Shell Bacton Gas Terminal. Prior experience includes working as a Maintenance Engineer at AMEC, a Systems Specialist at PSN, and an Instrument Technician at AMEC. Christopher's career began as a Systems Apprentice at OPITO, where early skills in maintenance, calibration, and fault finding were developed. Educational qualifications include an SVQ Level 3 in Instrumentation & Control and an HNC in Process Control.
