CJ Affeld is a seasoned petroleum industry professional with over 25 years of experience, including four years in the US Marine Corps. Currently serving as the Principal Production Technologist and Well Integrity Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Mars Olympus, CJ leads global initiatives and standard workflow implementations in the Gulf of Mexico. With a passion for reducing waste and enhancing operational efficiency, CJ has held leadership roles across various companies and regions, significantly contributing to training programs and best practices in well integrity and production technology. CJ’s extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of technical areas in both onshore and offshore environments, coupled with a commitment to coaching and developing talent in the industry. CJ earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
