Claudia Van Den Berg is currently the Downstream Projects HSE Manager at Shell, where they work with a team of safety professionals to ensure the safe design, construction, and startup of downstream projects globally. Previously, Claudia held several roles in health, safety, and environmental management, including HSE Manager for Majnoon Projects at Shell Iraq Petroleum Development BV and Safety Engineering Manager for Europe & Africa at Shell. They began their career as a Senior Industrial Hygienist with the Royal Netherlands Air Force and have contributed to projects across various sectors and regions. Claudia holds two master's degrees in Occupational Health and Environmental Engineering from Delft University of Technology and Wageningen University, respectively.
