Colin Appleby is currently retired after a distinguished 41-year career with Shell, where they specialized in Drilling and Workover operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Their last role involved Staff Development and Recruitment in Aberdeen, following positions such as Rig Superintendent and Area Well Engineering Manager. Colin's extensive experience includes leading teams in drilling training in Nigeria and overseeing high-pressure high-temperature operations. They earned a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland.
