Dan Wu

Dan Wu is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Shell since July 2023, focusing on advanced grid integration and system stability. As an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid since March 2021, Dan has contributed significantly to the field. Prior experience includes serving as a Grid Engineering Manager at Siemens Gamesa, managing grid compliance for offshore wind projects, and as a Power System Engineer at Vestas, specializing in wind farm control and harmonic modeling. Dan holds a PhD from Aalborg University, where research centered on power distribution and renewable energy systems. Previous roles include visiting research scientist and intern at ABB, with a strong academic foundation in electrical and electronics engineering.
