David Martin

David Martin is an experienced Control Room Operator and Senior Production Technician at Shell, having progressed from an Operator role since July 2012. Responsible for maximizing production output and ensuring site safety, David reports to both the Shift Supervisor and Operations Supervisor. Prior to Shell, David held positions at Wood Group, starting as an Instrument Technician and advancing to Lead Production Operator, where responsibilities included overseeing area technicians and maintaining safe production. David's career began at ExxonMobil as an Instrument Apprentice, followed by a role as Instrument/Electrical Chargehand at Rohm and Haas, where planned maintenance and supervision duties were performed. David holds an HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Fife College, earned in 1996.
