David Shaw

David Shaw has extensive experience in operational management, particularly in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Normally Unattended Installations (NUI) Offshore Installation Manager for Shell since November 2025, David is part of the cross-border Walk to Work team working in the UK and the Netherlands. Prior roles include Site Shift Operations Manager at Venator Materials Plc and Shift Manager at INEOS, where responsibilities included managing safety, production, and training for a team of over 20 personnel. David's tenure includes positions at Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates and Amec Foster Wheeler as a Senior Electrical Technician and NUI OIM, overseeing electrical work and operations on offshore platforms. David started a career with Shell in 2005, progressing from Control Room Operator to Senior Operations Technician, managing complex systems and ensuring safe operations. Education includes an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Teesside University.
