Dieter Aerts is a Chemical Engineer and Safety Engineer currently studying Math and Science at OLVE. They completed a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Safety Technology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Dieter interned as a Process Engineer at Monsanto Antwerp and gained extensive experience as a Production Specialist and Technologist at Shell from 2012 to 2019, where they worked on various units at the Pernis refinery and coordinated safety for turnarounds and projects.
