Doug Scott

Doug Scott, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Major Projects Manager at Shell since February 2012, Scott oversees offshore and subsea projects as well as onshore interstate pipelines. Previous roles include Division Director at TriStar Global Energy Solutions, where oversight included domestic and international operations for refinery services, and Manager of Engineering/Engineering Director at Petrobras, managing significant capital and operational budgets for a large refinery. Additional experience includes positions at ConocoPhillips, BP Amoco, and Arco Pipeline Company, focusing on engineering management, project execution, maintenance, and reliability engineering. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and a Master’s degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
